Our beloved Pastor Emeritus, Reverend Howard M. Haywood, made his transition to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019.
Rev. Haywood was a beacon of light for our Myrtle family and a pillar in the Newton community and beyond. He had an enormous impact on the people of Myrtle, the city of Newton, and citizens near and far. We have great respect for his life and legacy and he will be missed. - Pastor Brandon T. Crowley
