Reverend Elijah Gipson-Davis,
Minister of Administration

The Reverend Elijah Gipson-Davis is an anointed preacher, talented scholar, and skilled administrator; serving as the Minister of Administration at the Historic Myrtle Baptist Church of West Newton,Massachusetts where The Reverend Dr. Brandon Thomas Crowley is the senior pastor.  

Elijah is a first-year Master of Divinity student at Harvard Divinity School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Religion with a minor in Leadership Studies from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.  

During his matriculation at Morehouse College, Elijah served on the Committee for Student Life Improvement, as Worship Arts Assistant and Executive Secretary for the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, as Chaplain for the 90th Student Government Association, as Residential Advisor for Charles DuBois Hubert House, and Deputy Director of HouseCorps - a social justice-centered  student initiative housed within the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership. 

Elijah shares research interests in the field of religion in areas of African American and North  American religious cultures, religious ethics, critical theory, pastoral care, and practical theology.  His interests have allowed him to participate in several research projects and exploration  programs at Harvard Divinity School, the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, the Graduate  School at Princeton University, the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and  Howard University. 

Elijah accepted the call to ministry and was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel at the  New Macedonia Baptist Church of Riverdale, Georgia under the leadership of The Reverend  Gerry T. Anderson. There, he served in the music, youth, and pastoral support ministries. In  addition, Elijah has served at the Zion Baptist Church of Hampton, Georgia as the Interim  Children and Youth Minister, and Pastoral Intern at Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church of Gonzales, Louisiana.


Brittany T. Paschall,
Minister of Children & Youth

Hailing from Nashville, TN, Brittany T. Paschall is a dedicated educator, minister, and organizer. Her impressive journey has been marked by notable achievements, including being featured in publications like Sojourners and CBS This Morning (2021). Brittany's efforts as the founder of We Remember Nashville, an intergenerational public memory project, earned her recognition as one of the inaugural Gen2Gen Fellows through encore.org (2020).

A graduate of Grand Canyon University (2017), Brittany holds a certificate in Youth and Black Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, and she is currently pursuing studies at Harvard Divinity School in the Master of Religion and Public Life Program. Her ministerial licensing was granted by Double Love Experience Church, a Progressive National Baptist Convention affiliate (2022). Brittany's commitment to social justice is evident through her involvement with programs such as the Millennial Leaders Project of Union Theological Seminary, the RISE Together program, and the Racial Justice Learning Cohort.

Brittany's extensive background in youth advocacy spans both public and private sectors, including roles as Program Coordinator for The ENGAGE Youth Theology Initiative, Director and Program Coordinator for Building Bridges at Oasis Center, and Secondary English Language Arts Teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools. She has also been actively engaged with organizations like Top Ladies Of Distinction, Inc., The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., and Tennesseans for Historical Justice, among others.

Brittany's multifaceted journey is deeply rooted in her family, as the daughter of Glenn and Delta Paschall, granddaughter of the late Doris, Julius, Sarah, and Samuel, and a devoted dog parent to Arney-Yale and Jackson Paschall.
